1. Role of PaintersInToronto.ca

PaintersInToronto.ca collects painting and coating inquiries and helps connect suitable requests with one licensed and insured independent Ontario painting company. PaintersInToronto.ca itself does not perform the physical painting work, employ the contractor's crew, supervise the worksite, direct the contractor's methods or become the painting contractor merely because a request was submitted through this website.

The website may help organize information and facilitate communication, but the contractor remains responsible for the actual project and for determining whether a request can be accepted.

2. Independent Contractor Responsibility

The independent contractor is responsible for project-specific matters including:

• site assessment and suitability of surfaces
• written estimates and quotes
• final scope of work and exclusions
• surface preparation requirements
• product, primer, paint, coating, colour and sheen recommendations
• pricing, deposits, invoices and payments
• scheduling, staffing and subcontractors if any

• damage claims, disputes and final service outcome

PaintersInToronto.ca does not control the contractor's day-to-day work and does not create an employment, agency, franchise, partnership or joint-venture relationship with the contractor.

3. Quotes, Pricing and Availability

Website content, cost guides, examples and general ranges are planning information only. They are not a fixed quote, guaranteed price or promise that a project will be accepted. Final pricing depends on the actual property, surface condition, preparation, access, materials, size, timing, location and scope reviewed by the contractor.

The contractor is responsible for the final written quote and any later approved changes. Project availability, start dates and completion expectations must also be confirmed directly with the contractor.

4. No Guarantee of a Particular Project Outcome

Painting and coating results depend on project-specific conditions. PaintersInToronto.ca does not guarantee a final price, exact timeline, product availability, exact colour appearance under every lighting condition, adhesion on unsuitable or undisclosed substrates, cure time in every environment, stain blocking, hiding ability, surface perfection, epoxy or coating performance on unsuitable concrete, contractor availability, warranty terms or a particular final outcome.

Any warranty offered for workmanship or materials must be confirmed directly with the contractor and, where applicable, the product manufacturer. Website statements do not create a separate PaintersInToronto.ca workmanship warranty.

5. Surface and Environmental Conditions Matter

Project results can be affected by existing coating condition, substrate condition, moisture, contamination, previous repairs, plaster or drywall condition, concrete condition, temperature, humidity, ventilation, exterior weather, preparation, product compatibility, customer-selected colour or sheen, building use and access conditions.

These factors do not excuse poor workmanship. They explain why a contractor must assess the real project and choose suitable preparation and materials before work begins.

6. Older Properties, Lead Paint, Asbestos, Mould and Other Hazards
